Instructor (Ketaki Kale) Profile –

Ketaki Kale is a professional Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher & choreographer, with a Masters degree in Indian Classical Dance (M.A.) and UGC’s N.E.T. certification (National Eligibility Test). She has been running her own Dance Academy in Pune, India and Seattle, USA, under the banner of – Naadanam Academy of Performing Arts, since 15 years.

Her dance academy, Naadanam is listed in the International Who’s Who of Dance by international dance council working under UNESCO. Naadanam is also affiliated to Tilak Maharashtra University and her disciples are trained for university certification in Bharatanatyam.

She has been conducting these in person & virtual classes on a regular basis, with a student count numbering over 2000 till date and students from Seattle, California, Philadelphia (USA), UAE, Singapore and India . She along with her  troupe have been  performing regularly  at various events and cultural festivals in India, U.S.A. Germany and China.

She is also a trained Dance Movement Therapist and has been conducting movement therapy sessions for specially abled children with Down syndrome, autism, learning disabilities, etc. since 8 years and over 50 such kids have benefited from it.

Apart from Bharatanatyam, she is well versed in many other dance styles like contemporary, Indian folk- garba Dandiya, Gidda Bhangra, jaagar gondhal, tribal folk and many more , Bollywood , jazz , belly dancing and much more ! She conducts regular classes and workshops in these dance styles too . 

She has directed and choreographed many theme based stage shows, which have been widely appreciated by the spectators and even in the media.

She has also been a faculty of performing arts at the FLAME University. Karnataka Highschool , The Rosary School, Sinhgad Institute.
